Human Resources Manager, CTSI

The Human Resources Manager functions as the primary administrator for all matters related to CTSI Staff Personnel in support of CTSI clinical research programs based in multiple locations. This includes issues related to career, limited, and temporary staff recruitment; appointments, and other salary actions (equity analysis, range adjustments, merits, reclassifications, exceptional increases, stipends); performance issues and evaluation; labor and employee relations; layoffs, dismissals, and voluntary separations; leaves of absence; payroll; fostering a supportive work environment; and support of campus diversity objectives. UCSF human resource management experience required; including experience with oversight of all personnel and payroll support of staff (career (including hourly /w shift differentials), limited and temporary staff; organization of recruitment process, appointment of new employees, analysis of salary levels, and payments and preparation of merit increases and equity/reclassification adjustments, and operational reports for all career, limited, and temporary staff employees. Experience working with multiple divisions/programs having a diverse, decentralized, geographically dispersed clinical research staff preferred.

Deputy Program Director, CRC

The DPD will be apart of the management team responsible for UCSF’s Clinical Research Center (CRC), a network of nine clinical research sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area offering innovative clinical research support services to UCSF’s researchers and trainees. The successful candidate will support the Program Director in leading the CRC enterprise by developing and implementing financial and operational systems and processes to support facilities, staff, and infrastructure needed to support researchers in high quality clinical trials and clinical research ranging from first-in-human to pivotal studies for regulatory approval. Creating an environment that leads to more productive and efficient translational research is a key tenet of the funding award from the NIH. The DPD will play a significant role in the development of a cutting edge service organization and transforming the CRC into a model of excellence and efficiency. To realize CRC's potential, the organization requires a Deputy Program Director with significant experience in financial systems and processes, business/operational analysis and redesign, and change management.

Program Director, CRC

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is an NIH-funded, multidisciplinary organization established to enhance and to accelerate clinical and translational research across the campus. A major component of the Institute is the CTSI Clinical Research Center (CCRC), with an annual operating budget of $12M. The CCRC is comprised of nine distinct but coordinated units that provide infrastructure and research support for a wide variety of multidisciplinary translational and clinical studies conducted in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

We are seeking a Program Director (PD) of the CCRC who can play a pivotal role in leading the CCRC so that it best meets the needs of clinical and translational researchers based at UCSF and affiliated institutions, as well as collaborators from the local community and biotech/pharma.
